Inside Sales Support Representative / Project Manager - Air Equipment Company

The responsibilities of the Inside Sales Support Representative/Project Manager include, but are not limited to, the following:

Inside Sales Support/Project Management

1. Learn & understand product lines
2. Understanding of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system
3. Communicating with principles
4. Attend manufacturers training
5. Communicating with salesperson
6. Project take-offs
7. Equipment selection
8. Attend pre-bid meetings
10. Prepare and track submittals
11. Order entry
12. Maintain project margins
13. Keep jobs on budget
14. Attend progress meetings
15. Understand project schedule
16. Be responsive to customers’ needs
17. Expedite equipment
18. Diplomatic communication with customers
19. Onsite assistance/inspections
20. Schedule and confirm start-up
21. Stay involved through warranty period
22. Owner training



  • 2 year technical degree or equal
  • Travel 2 days/month (training)
  • Familiarity with HVAC design and systems
  • Familiarity with construction
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Availability to travel in state to construction sites
  • Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent
  • 2 years’ experience in HVAC application/design/sales
  • Well rounded (professional and personal)
  • Ability to read construction documents
  • Knowledge of CAD / Revitt
  • Selection & Sizing of Equipment
  • Project Management Experience
  • Average tenure over 15 years
  • Over 70 years in the industry
