Job Position: Project Manager – Commercial General Contracting

Job Skills / Requirements
POSITION SUMMARY: Provide management oversight for all phases of the construction programs and projects, developing cost estimates, subcontractor selection and project buyout, coordination of S&S staff and including subcontractors, relationship management with clients and regulators, material and equipment procurement, ensuring that contract documents are being followed and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.
Preparing bids, cost estimates and budgets
Project development, permitting, and supervision.
Developing and reviewing plans and specifications
Preparing and approving project progress reports, and schedules
Planning, organizing, and directing all phases of construction projects
Evaluating and maintaining project progress, quality, and conformance to plans and specifications
Documenting information and writing reports
Determining project manpower, material, and equipment requirements
Implementing and monitoring safety policies and procedures
Providing technical assistance to construction crews and subcontractors
Ensure that the project is within the approved budget
Completing any related duties as assigned by management
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
Five years of experience leading construction projects as a Project Manager.
Capable of estimating projects.
Experience in WEB based project access, monitoring and documentation a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office utilizing Excel, Word and Project Scheduling software.
Outstanding and professional oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Travel may be required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The ability to focus on & perform detailed estimating and paperwork task for long durations of time. Sitting and standing in an office environment. The ability to walk large job site and buildings at every phase of construction. Ability to work alongside laborer and carpenters if required.
